Bible

Which Bible translations are available?

Blessumo currently includes the World English Bible (WEB) and the King James Version (KJV), both in the public domain. We only add other translations through official licences or publisher APIs. See our Licensing page for details.

Can I read offline?

Yes. Chapters you open are cached on your device, and you can save chapters for offline reading from the reader menu. Offline reading is available for public-domain translations.

Community

Can I post a prayer request anonymously?

Yes. When you post a prayer request you can choose to hide your name. Moderators can still see who posted it so we can keep the community safe. Please don't share other people's private details without their permission.

See: James 5:16

Faith

How can I begin a relationship with God?

The Bible teaches that God loves us, that we have all fallen short, and that Jesus died and rose again so we can be forgiven and know God. Visit our Gospel page to read the key passages for yourself, and use 'Talk to someone' if you'd like to speak with a real person.

See: John 3:16, Romans 3:23, Romans 10:9

What does it mean to pray?

Prayer is simply talking with God — giving thanks, asking for help, confessing, and listening. Jesus taught his disciples a model prayer in Matthew 6. You can start with a few honest sentences.

See: Matthew 6:9-13, Philippians 4:6

Is Blessumo connected to a particular denomination?

No. Blessumo is non-denominational. We focus on the Bible and on core Christian beliefs shared across churches, and we encourage everyone to be part of a local church community.
